Visited on a Saturday lunch time with some work colleagues, ordered a starter platter and 3 mains and requested that they all came out together as we had to get back to work. After a 30minute wait our starter came out not accompanied by with our mains. We asked the waitress if the mains were going to follow and she left to ask the kitchen. 15minutes later we then had to return back to bar to find out what was happening with our mains. A further 15/20 minutes later after complaining to the manager he brought out our mains. The food was not what we was expecting and tasting vial. Nearly 10 for a 'mac & cheese' which tasted like chicken soup with pasta in it and sour cheese. The haddock was over cooked and after all our waiting was served without the tartar sauce. The chicken and chorizo pastry most certainly didn't look like the spec on the menu. And when the manager was confronted he said it was just cause of the shape of the plate. After complaining, which was handled appallingly we then had wait while the manager cleared tables before dealing with our refund. We will never be visiting again
Terrible experience waited over an hour for food whilst other people came ate and left. Then starers appeared at same time as mains very disappointed
The food is alright, typical chain food. I would say it gives a choice rather than going to McDonald's. It won't give you a proper restaurant experience but at least a bit more exciting than an average fast food place. The breakfast was alright if you pick from the hot meals but I wouldn't go for the continental breakfast
This was okay, although the two for one deals make it more acceptable. The food was tasty but average and the restaurant area is looking a bit tired. The staff were lovely and very kind and courteous.
Waited ages for mains. Waited ages for dessert. Asked waiter twice where it was. In the end asked for a refund on desserts as we had given up waiting. New manager so may improve over time but would not go back any time soon. Had festive burger which was lovely but wait time was ridiculous...
