Wanted a light lunch and this isn't the best for a sandwich and a coffee. However, my friend and I decided to treat ourselves to an afternoon tea instead. The scones were fresh warm and fruity. The strawberry jam was brilliant and the cream just right. I had Earl Grey tea which was flavorful and served in a beautiful antique teapot with silver strainer. Overall the experience was very good but they were let down a little at the end when trying to pay.
Really looked forward to popping in for late lunch, loved the decor and had high hopes which were sadly soon dashed when our food arrived. Fish and chips came with no peas or side veggies, and very poor quality fish for 18. Also had macaroni cheese which was extremely average. Also looked forward to fresh juice for 6 which was not fresh at all and apparently shipped in not squeezed in house! Overall, a hugely disappointing experience, might be nice for coffee and cake but we won't bother to have a meal again.

Poor service, practically threw the drinks at. Was in a rush to get rid of us also, ordered 2 chocolate pastries and they came out rock hard and cold. Asked for a milky latte and it was strong with no sugar. Customer service is horrendous and all up their own arses. Wouldnt come back. Youd get a better meal at McDonalds!!
Probably the best place to eat in BV but still over priced but then again what other choices are there if you want a proper sit down meal. Had the daily set menu which was okay - chicken schnitzel was a bit dry but good with the salad and chips. The squash ravioli was a bit too sweet for my liking. Would have given it 3.5 stars if I could.
