Nice and expensive new library but opening hours not 24x7 like Oxford Brooks ... Also very much no Computer and Computer Programming Books ... Tried to see if they had any Microsoft C# books and zero in stock and none in their local network ... Not paying the like 8.99 to pull in a book from the wider UK libraries ... the library/school report is "Could/Should do better"! ... Could not see hot or cold water drinking facilities and no vending machine
This library is incredible and I use it to do a lot of studying and it is very helpful, but I'm not impressed by the children's conputers it says you have 120 seconds and then in like 5 seconds it turns off
The best Oxfordshire library outside of Oxford itself. It has a large and varied selection of books on offer in a modern setting. Lots of extra facilities too, including several computers for accessing the internet. Only problem is that locating the library is more difficult than it should be as there's inadequate signage on the nearby streets. It took me ages to find it on my first visit!
Love the new library. We were regular visitors to the old Bicester library and liked it, but this one is so much better. It is great that we can park in Sainsbury and get to it easily. They have a huge choice and the children' s area is super, so spacious and they are able to play as well as read and look at books. I really like the stage and the different styles of seats- very well thought out for little ones to hide/play in. The staff were really helpful as I needed a new ticket and they helped me with the computer. Very impressed, thank you for adding a great facility to our town.
This is supposed to be a library for the community, but access to the library is very difficult. The location is not conducive at all. It should have been better thought out. There should be more signs around the town to show where it is located. It is so difficult to find and it definitely should not have been positioned next to a hotel. Outside of all that it is a really lovely library and some staff are very helpful and welcoming. It should have been located anywhere else but where it is now. That is a fact from all the people I have spoken to about this.
