The site looked very clean, well presented and modern. Unfortunately we arrived late due to a crash, we were not able to use the toilets or showers as all the lighting was turned off. We were only instructed to park up and then left. I understand we arrived late and that was obviously an inconvenience but it would have been good to be able to use the showers.
Nice little site. 4 stars as toilet block is a bit basic and 70s... but up to 5 again for the caravan wash station.
I would give it 1 star if I could keep this hidden gem for myself. Alas it has everything going for it for a nice relaxing long weekend which we often enjoy here with friends and family. Chilled out proper. We stay in our caravan whilst kids enjoy the onsite pods.
Really nice campsite. Great location. Unfortunately the toilets and showers aren't as good as others. Pods are very well priced.
Loved this place. A lovely relaxed camp sight. No one bothers you. Fishing lake on site.local shops Very trust worthy and will be visiting shortly again soon for some time out :)
