I have been trying to get an appointment for weeks. They never answer the phone!
When trying to make an appointment over the phone reception insisted on knowing why I wanted to make the appointment. I refused to disclose the reason as I don't believe I need to give confidential information to a receptionist. I asked for a GP to phone me back if information was needed, I was told this wasn't possible.She refused to offer me an appointment unless I said the reason. I understand surgeries are busy but surely the is a breach of confidentiality? Receptionists are not trained sufficiently to assess whether or not an appointment is necessary.
Was an amazing surgery and fantastic doctors and nurses however since joining with Victoria house it has taken forever to get through to reception! Few weeks ago 30 minutes before call answered and today 25 minutes and up to 3 weeks to wait for appointments is ridiculous. Shame to say the least that it had to change.Also one receptionist has a very bad attitude and needs to to learn to speak to patients in a proper manner and with respect,my daughter now q6 has to make her own appointments is scared to call due to how she was spoken to.
